Our Precious Earth is simply a resource for those who are interested in protecting not only the animals we all live with, but the habitats and lands they need to live.

Whether the animals we care about are domesticated or wild, they need our dedication, compassion, understanding and support. The lands they need to survive are the same lands we enjoy ourselves. Deserts of rock, sand and flowering cacti, mountains filled with towering trees and thundering waterfalls, oceans, seas, lakes, rivers and ponds of clean water and vegetation, rainforests lush with foliage, savannahs open and free… all are needed to continue the cycle of life for them- and for us.

Maybe you are wondering if you can actually help make a difference. Absolutely! One voice added to many makes for strong statements and causes. As Margaret Mead said so eloquently, “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”

With knowledge comes understanding, and with both knowledge and understanding as a foundation, wisdom will hopefully follow to add to the needed balance. Let’s work together so we can live together!
